Museum Rosengart Collection
Lucerne, Switzerland
The Rosengart Collection brings together works by Picasso, Paul Klee and other artists associated with Impressionism and Classical Modernism. Its home in the former Swiss National Bank gives the visit an intimate architectural setting, with a historic conference room preserved within the museum. The collection grew from the work and friendships of art dealers Siegfried and Angela Rosengart. A guided visit can help explain those connections, rather than reducing the experience to a sequence of famous names.
