Namkha
Bhutan

Namkha is the principal restaurant at Six Senses Thimphu in Bhutan. Its kitchen combines Bhutanese dishes with Asian and international cooking, drawing some ingredients from the lodge's own organic garden. Local choices include smoked trout, Thimphu Lungpa Zhego made with dried beef, and Tshe Tshe, a fresh salad served with spicy ezay. These sit alongside dishes from further afield, allowing guests to explore Bhutanese flavours without committing to a wholly regional menu. The terrace opens the meal to the surrounding landscape in warmer weather, while the winter bar serves canapés and lighter bites. A children's menu and highchairs accommodate younger diners.
