Ngala Lodge is an adults-only boutique hotel on a clifftop in Fajara, overlooking the Atlantic and a secluded beach. Tropical gardens surround its individually designed suites, with the original ten housed in a former colonial mansion. These Lodge Suites have private balconies or terraces, while later additions offer different combinations of sea views, private gardens and plunge pools. The range includes Macondo accommodation and the Femmy Suite, which has its own pool. Shared swimming pools and an ocean-facing restaurant keep much of the stay within the grounds. The position away from the main resort areas gives Ngala a distinct setting on this part of the Gambian coast.
