Obaya Lounge - Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh

Obaya Lounge occupies the ground-floor atrium of Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre. Named after King Abdulaziz's Arabian horse, it draws on Saudi heritage through its design, with sculptural trees, comfortable seating and decorative references to traditional architecture. The all-day menu allows visits to range from breakfast to a substantial meal. Shakshuka and eggs Benedict sit alongside Saudi chicken kabsa, lamb-shank ouzi and mezze. Hummus, moutabel and labneh offer a lighter route through the menu, while date pudding with camel-milk ice cream gives dessert a local accent. Afternoon tea is a particular attraction, presented on a bespoke stand inspired by the shape of Kingdom Centre. Savouries, pastries and desserts change with seasonal themes, accompanied by teas and coffees. Saudi coffee and drinks drawing on ingredients such as Taif rose extend the regional character. The spacious hotel setting suits an unhurried conversation, a business meeting over coffee or a break during a day in the city. Its range of food makes it equally practical when a brief stop develops into lunch.
