Oh! Calcutta
Bhowanipore, Kolkata, West Bengal, India; 10/3 Elgin Road, 4th Floor, Forum Mall, Kolkata 700020
Oh! Calcutta is a verified Kolkata restaurant option with a clear official branch listing, making it much easier to recommend confidently to visitors than many multi-location brands. The operator’s current locations page lists a Kolkata outlet at 10/3 Elgin Road, 4th Floor, Forum Mall, Bhowanipore, with contact numbers and a directions link, so the identity and street-level setting are both straightforward to establish. The official brand site frames the restaurant around Bengali cuisine and the culinary influences associated with Calcutta, positioning it as a polished, full-service introduction to the region’s food rather than a casual snack stop. For travellers, the practical value is clarity: the restaurant sits inside a prominent central mall, which usually means simple wayfinding, organised building access and easier arrival by taxi or app-based transport than some stand-alone heritage properties. Editorially, it works well in a Kolkata list because it offers a recognisable Bengali dining format in a location that is simple to identify on the ground. It does not need to be presented as the city’s definitive meal; instead, its strength is that the official evidence firmly supports branch identity, operation and location within Kolkata proper.
