Osaka Concepción is the Buenos Aires branch of the international Osaka group, on Concepción Arenal between Palermo Hollywood and Colegiales. The large contemporary space includes a lively bar, sushi counter, wood-lined dining room and a terrace filled with plants. Chef Cindy Higa's à la carte menu combines Japanese techniques with Peruvian flavours. Wasabi ceviche and Ebi Mentaiko, pairing prawns with roasted rocoto cream and Parmesan, illustrate the approach. Desserts continue the fusion theme, including mango and passion fruit with pisco-flavoured apple sorbet and coconut. The breadth of the menu allows diners to move between sushi, seafood and other Nikkei preparations within the same meal.
