Pebble Island Lodge
Pebble Island, Falkland Islands
Pebble Island Lodge sits in the settlement on Pebble Island, on a narrow isthmus near Elephant Beach. Originally built as the farm manager’s house in 1928, it was converted into a tourist lodge in 1987 and has since been extensively renovated. It remains a focal point of this remote island community and provides a comfortable base for exploring both the wildlife and the history of the island. Pebble Island is known for birdlife, hiking opportunities and war history, so the experience here is as much about the island itself as the accommodation. The lodge’s settlement location makes it feel part of everyday island life.
