Pendry Chicago occupies the 1929 Art Deco Carbide & Carbon Building in the Loop, close to Michigan Avenue. Its 364 rooms and suites use contemporary interiors with details that refer to the building's original style. The upper Carbon and Carbide suites occupy former executive offices, retaining features such as parquet floors and crown mouldings alongside wide city views. Venteux, Bar Pendry and the seasonal Château Carbide rooftop provide contrasting dining and drinks settings. The rooftop serves cocktails and small plates with skyline views and weekend DJs, while the lower venues bring the social spaces back inside the historic building. Meeting and celebration rooms extend the hotel's use beyond accommodation.
