Plantation Restaurant
Indonesia

Plantation Restaurant at Alila Ubud occupies a traditional Balinese pavilion overlooking the Ayung River Valley. The kitchen works with seasonal ingredients from local farmers and the hotel’s organic garden, bringing Indonesian and wider Asian cooking to this open setting. Indonesian rijsttafel and Thai green curry illustrate the menu’s range. The rijsttafel experience presents a spread of Indonesian dishes and requires advance booking. Selected evenings add performances and themed meals, including Barong dance with a four-course local menu and a spice-market dinner featuring babi guling, Balinese sweets, Legong dance and gamelan music. Cooking classes begin in the garden, connecting the finished dishes with the ingredients grown on the property.
