Porta Hotel Antigua uses Guatemala’s colonial architecture and crafts to shape its rooms and shared spaces. Timber beams, exposed stone and brick, period furniture and handmade bathroom tiles appear throughout the accommodation, with colourful textiles adding a local detail. The hotel has 107 rooms and five suites. Gardens surround a swimming pool, while Ceiba Spa includes treatment rooms, wet and dry saunas and a temazcal experience. Los Moros is the main restaurant, joined by El Conquistador Bar and a poolside snack bar. The different rooms are spread across the property, including accommodation across a narrow street from the main entrance.
