Portrait Roma
Via dei Condotti and Via Bocca di Leone; Rome, Italy
Portrait Roma is conceived as a private Roman residence above the Via dei Condotti shopping district. Its fourteen suites, designed by Michele Bönan with inspiration from Salvatore Ferragamo, combine crafted materials, contemporary lines and carefully considered living areas. Kitchenettes and selected private terraces encourage a more independent rhythm than a conventional hotel room. The shared rooftop terrace brings the skyline into the experience, providing a setting for breakfast, coffee or an evening aperitif. Meals can also unfold in the privacy of a suite, keeping the atmosphere intimate and unhurried. We include Portrait for travellers who value discretion, domestic space and a close relationship to the Spanish Steps area. Its small scale is the central appeal: this is a place to settle into a Roman routine, with shopping, cultural visits and quiet time at the residence fitted around personal preferences. It works especially well for couples or a longer city visit where a suite's living space will be used meaningfully.
