Present Company sits on the Farmington River in Tariffville, with an open kitchen at the centre of the dining experience. Owner Jeff Lizotte opened it in 2016 after working in France, at Le Bernardin in New York and as executive chef of Hartford's ON20. The kitchen develops seasonally changing menus, with a tasting-menu option alongside the main selection. Seats at the Chef's Counter offer a direct view of the team preparing and finishing dishes. Pastry forms a dedicated part of the operation, completing a meal whose character changes with the season and the ingredients available to the chefs.
