Provision occupies the second floor of Ironworks Hotel on Indianapolis's north side, with a New American menu that draws on regional farms and producers. Its suppliers include Fischer Farms, Gunthorp Farms and Viking Lamb, giving the kitchen a connection to the surrounding agricultural landscape. Dinner ranges from vegetable-led salads to seafood, steaks and pork. A pork chop with sweet potato purée, broccolini and peach illustrates the combination of familiar ingredients and layered accompaniments. An extensive wine list and separate cocktail selection allow the meal to develop from a drink at the bar into a longer dinner.
