Rataskaevu 16 takes its name from its address in Tallinn, reflecting the founders' decision to let the house give the restaurant its identity. The menu brings together Estonian ingredients and contemporary European cooking, with fish, game and vegetable dishes sharing the same attention. Braised elk comes with potato and beetroot gratin, plum and blackcurrant mustard sauce, while fish soup combines smoked eel and salmon. Cauliflower steak with beetroot hummus provides a vegan choice.
