Reale
Italy

Reale occupies Casadonna, a former 16th-century monastery in Castel di Sangro. Niko Romito's cooking studies ingredients closely, using complex preparation techniques to draw out their clearest flavours. Cristiana Romito leads the dining room, connecting the service with the kitchen's focus on precision and simplicity. Seasonal tasting and à la carte menus combine established dishes with new work. Wine is another substantial part of the experience: the cellar occupies the former stables, where centuries-old troughs remain among more than 5,000 bottles. Italy, particularly Abruzzo, receives special attention, alongside other European regions. Wine pairings are joined by alternatives built around cocktails and infusions.
