Reef Resort Restaurant
Tonga

Reef Resort’s restaurant overlooks the lagoon from Kapa Island in Tonga’s Vava’u group. Exposed timber beams and folding glass doors connect the dining room with a large outdoor deck, allowing meals to move between shelter and open air. The kitchen combines contemporary European and Polynesian influences, using local market produce for a menu that changes daily. Seafood has a central role, with tuna, mahi-mahi, snapper and lobster among the ingredients the resort highlights. Seasonal fruit and vegetables come from local growers. Breakfast and lunch lead into freshly baked cake for afternoon tea and a three-course dinner. The bar supplies wines, spirits and sundowner cocktails, while the deck gives dinner a setting beneath the island’s night sky.
