Restaurant Martín is the family-owned Santa Fe restaurant of chef Martín Rios and his wife Jennifer. Its progressive American cooking reflects Rios's training and experience, within a setting intended to balance a considered meal with a comfortable neighbourhood restaurant. Born in Guadalajara and raised in Santa Fe, Rios began working in restaurants as a teenager before training at the Culinary Institute of America. The restaurant brings that career back to the city where it began. The Galisteo Street address serves both local diners and visitors. The owners' connection with Santa Fe also extends into community work, giving the restaurant a local foundation beyond its menu.
