Restaurant Torkel
Liechtenstein

Restaurant Torkel stands in the princely Herawingert vineyard north of Vaduz. Its medieval building originally served winemaking before becoming a restaurant in the 1960s. The interior retains the large historic wine press, while a redesigned veranda opens the dining space towards the surrounding vineyard. Chef Ivo Berger leads the family-run restaurant, offering seasonal à la carte dishes and tasting menus. The cooking uses ingredients from both local and international producers, with menus changing according to the market. Contemporary preparations sit alongside classical influences, and the wine selection reflects the restaurant's close connection with Liechtenstein's winemaking history.
