Rosewood Little Dix Bay

Rosewood Little Dix Bay follows a sheltered crescent of sand on Virgin Gorda, framed by green hills and protected offshore by a coral reef. Established by Laurance Rockefeller in 1964, the resort retains a low-rise relationship with the landscape. Garden paths, natural materials and views across the bay give the setting a calm, village-like character. Accommodation ranges from beach-facing cottages and suites to larger villas on the hillside or close to the water. Light interiors and outdoor living areas make the surroundings part of each stay, while some suites add private pools. The variety suits both couples looking for a quiet retreat and families who need separate bedrooms and shared living space. Dining explores Caribbean ingredients at venues including Sugar Mill and Reef House, with produce also grown on the resort’s farm. The cliffside Sense spa overlooks the Sir Francis Drake Channel, and tennis, pickleball and watersports provide alternatives to the beach. Boat trips to other coves allow guests to explore more of Virgin Gorda without losing the unhurried rhythm of the resort.
