SAFE Restaurant occupies BANKHOTEL in central Lviv, within the walls of a former Austro-Hungarian bank. The building’s history gives the restaurant its name and context, while the dining space takes a contemporary design approach. Stefano Antoniolli created a menu rooted in modern interpretations of Mediterranean cooking. Italian traditions are a particular influence, with tasting menus exploring the contrast between regions such as Sicily and Trentino. Desserts come from the hotel’s own FINANCIER patisserie. The wine list spans 270 labels, supported by a broad spirits selection. Early twentieth-century jazz and Italian classics shape the evening soundtrack, adding another connection with the restaurant’s European setting. Its combination of a historic address, Mediterranean food and an extensive wine selection makes SAFE a distinct dining destination within the hotel.
