Salmon Falls Resort
Alaska

Salmon Falls Resort sits on Revillagigedo Island near Ketchikan, at the southern entrance to Alaska's Inside Passage. The 51-room property is surrounded by the Tongass National Forest and centres much of its programme on fishing and access to the surrounding waterways. Activities include guided fishing, bear watching, floatplane excursions and kayaking, with salmon roe and wine pairings also listed among its experiences. Timbers Restaurant is open to the public as well as resort guests, serving Alaskan seafood alongside wine and microbrews. The combination of a wilderness setting, organised excursions and an established restaurant makes the property more than a base for a single fishing trip.
