Salterra has quickly become the most important new luxury hotel on South Caicos, giving the quieter southern island a high-end base with much greater international visibility than it previously had. It suits travellers who want somewhere newer and more polished, but in a setting that feels notably less built-up than Providenciales. Its importance lies in geography as much as product. Independent hotel guides already place it among the strongest stays in the territory, and its South Caicos position meaningfully broadens the map of where a luxury Turks and Caicos holiday can happen.
