Samoset Resort
Maine
Samoset Resort occupies an oceanfront site in Rockport, overlooking Penobscot Bay. Guest rooms and suites have balconies or terraces, while family rooms include bunk beds and larger accommodation extends to condominiums and cottages with kitchens. The 18-hole golf course surrounds the hotel, with many holes looking towards the ocean. La Bella Vita serves Italian cooking alongside Maine ingredients, with Enoteca Wine Bar attached. The Clubhouse Grille and Splash Pool Bar provide more casual dining. Leisure facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, tennis and pickleball courts, a fitness centre and Opal Spa. The outdoor pool's sloping entry and adjoining hot tub make it a substantial gathering space within the grounds.
