The Gallery District behind San José del Cabo’s main square comes into its own during the seasonal Thursday Art Walk. Participating galleries welcome visitors into spaces showing painting, sculpture, photography and other work by Mexican and international artists. The pleasure is in moving slowly, following your interests and occasionally meeting the people behind the work. Pair the walk with dinner nearby, allowing the galleries to set the rhythm rather than rushing between appointments.
