Sanctuary Infinity Pools at Jade Mountain
Soufrière, Saint Lucia

At Jade Mountain, private infinity pools form part of the living space of the resort's sanctuaries, opening towards the Pitons and Caribbean Sea. The hillside position above Anse Chastanet gives the water a broad natural backdrop, while architect Nick Troubetzkoy's use of stone columns and individual bridges creates a distinctive approach to each suite. Architecture is organised around the view rather than enclosing it. The Star, Moon, Sun and Galaxy sanctuaries have their own infinity pools, with the choice of category affecting the scale and perspective of the accommodation. Water and open living areas are closely integrated, allowing guests to move between swimming and relaxing without leaving their private space. The experience is particularly suited to watching changes in weather, light and colour across the sea and mountains. The wider resort adds dining at the Jade Mountain Club, the Celestial Terrace and spa treatments, with access to activities on the Anse Chastanet estate. Beach time, sailing and diving provide different ways to explore the coast. Guests choosing specifically for a private pool should select a sanctuary category, as the Sky Whirlpool Suites follow a different accommodation concept and do not include one.
