Sargasso's successor is 48 Donley in Morgantown's Wharf District. The original restaurant closed at the end of 2023, with its food and wine interests continuing under the new name and address. The current restaurant serves creative American cooking built around fresh seasonal ingredients and dishes made from scratch. Published options range from a jerk-chicken hoagie to a croque madame and chicken with potato waffles, showing a broad range within a casual setting. The Buzz wine-sampling event also continues, pairing three half-glass pours with a chef-selected appetiser. Its themed selections make wine a particular reason to visit, while the move to Donley Street gives the business a new setting.
