Shete Boka National Park
North coast near Westpunt, Curaçao

Shete Boka National Park shows Curaçao at its most dramatic. Instead of calm southern waters and sheltered beaches, this protected stretch of north coast is all pounding surf, rocky inlets and exposed viewpoints shaped by wind and sea. It is the side of the island that surprises visitors who think Curaçao is only about placid water and resort beaches. The visit is more concentrated than Christoffel Park, but its impact is immediate. Boka Tabla and the surrounding viewpoints can be appreciated on a relatively short stop, which makes the park easy to combine with a wider west-coast day. It ranks below the most layered experiences because it is narrower in scope, yet few places on the island deliver such a strong visual contrast so quickly.
