SkyPark Infinity Pool at Marina Bay Sands
Singapore, Singapore

The SkyPark Infinity Pool stretches across the rooftop of Marina Bay Sands, placing swimmers fifty-seven storeys above Singapore. Its long, level edge creates the impression that the water continues towards the city's towers, while palms and loungers turn the surrounding deck into an outdoor living space. The skyline changes character through the day, from a sharply defined urban panorama to a field of lights after sunset. At 150 metres long, the pool offers room both to swim and to pause at the edge. Separate adult, family and children's sections give different groups their own areas, and heated outdoor Jacuzzis provide another place to linger. Poolside food and drinks make it possible to spend several hours here, with the elevated setting remaining the central attraction. Access is reserved for registered Marina Bay Sands hotel guests, who must present their room keycards. A ticket to the observation deck does not provide entry to the swimming pool. For those staying at the hotel, the experience adds a distinctive perspective on the city, combining an ordinary swim with a setting closely identified with Singapore's contemporary architecture.
