Sóller Heritage Railway

The wooden Sóller train makes the journey itself the occasion, travelling from Palma through tunnels and mountain scenery towards the orange-growing valley. The line’s early twentieth-century character remains part of its appeal, with the arrival in Sóller offering time to explore before returning. A separate historic tram continues towards the port. Choose this as a deliberately slower day, leaving space between connections rather than treating the railway as merely another transfer across the island.
