The Alluvian

The Alluvian brings the Mississippi Delta into its interiors at a hotel on Howard Street in Greenwood. Colours and textures draw on the region’s earth, foliage and sky, while commissioned paintings and photographs by artists with Mississippi connections interpret the surrounding alluvial landscape. The hotel has 45 rooms, five suites and four lofts for longer stays. Southern buffet breakfast, a library of regional literature, music and films, and a fitness centre are among its facilities. The Alluvian Spa, Giardina’s Restaurant and Viking Cooking School add treatments, dining and practical cooking classes to the experience.
