The American Club
Wisconsin

The American Club gives Kohler’s industrial history an unusually comfortable second life. Built in 1918 to house immigrant workers, the hotel’s Tudor-style red-brick building became a resort in 1981, preserving its connection to the Wisconsin village and the company that shaped it. Its 241 rooms continue that relationship through bathrooms fitted with Kohler products. Antiques in the corridors add reminders of the town’s past, while the architecture retains the character of a substantial historic inn. The wider destination brings together golf at Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run, the water-focused Kohler Waters Spa and a varied dining collection. A nature preserve and the Kohler Design Center add further interests, giving a stay options beyond the courses and spa.
