The Belle Rive Boutique Hotel occupies four houses beside the Mekong in Luang Prabang's historic peninsula. Its fourteen rooms and five suites combine Colonial character with traditional Lao and contemporary design, with river views and selected balconies or terraces. Temples are within walking distance. The riverside Terrace restaurant serves breakfast throughout the day, Lao meals and drinks beneath coconut trees, looking towards the river and surrounding mountains. An organic garden supplies vegetables and fruit to the kitchen, while a separate garden gives guests space to read beside the water. Complimentary bicycles make exploring the town straightforward, and the hotel's boat offers another way to travel towards Kuang Si Waterfalls.
