The Bishop's Buttery

The Bishop's Buttery occupies the original vaulted kitchens beneath Cashel Palace, a restored 1732 manor beside the Rock of Cashel in County Tipperary. Stone vaults, old flagstones and a central fireplace frame modern Irish cooking shaped by the farms, orchards and artisan producers of the Golden Vale. A tasting menu offers the fullest progression of seasonal dishes, while a table d'hôte menu provides a shorter alternative. Sommelier-led pairings and private wine tastings accompany the food, and a chef's table or private dinner can be arranged. The restaurant holds one Michelin star and welcomes hotel guests and non-residents by advance reservation.
