The Boma - Dinner & Drum Show
Zimbabwe

The Boma combines dinner with an evening of music, dance and participation on the Victoria Falls Safari estate. Guests receive a chitenge cloth on arrival, with dancers, face painting and a hand-washing ceremony forming part of the welcome. The four-course meal begins with a shared platter and soup from the campfire, followed by a barbecue buffet. Game meats sit alongside beef, chicken, fish and vegetarian dishes, with sadza and peanut-butter rice among the accompaniments. A dessert selection completes the feast. Entertainment continues through mbira music and traditional dancing. The central drumming show gives each guest a djembe and teaches rhythms before the evening moves to the dance floor. A cappella singers round off the experience at the tables.
