The Bottle Restaurant at Cara Lodge places Guyana's varied heritage on the table and in the dining room. English ballast-brick columns, Dutch bottle displays, hardwood floors and Portuguese ceramic tiles give the restaurant its distinctive setting inside the Georgetown hotel. The kitchen combines Western, Caribbean and Amerindian influences, with pepperpot, Indian curries and local seafood illustrating the breadth of its cooking. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and afternoon tea are offered in different formats. The adjoining Patio Bar provides an outdoor setting among palms, serving aged rum, wine and cocktails.
