The Charmant Hotel
Wisconsin

The Charmant Hotel transforms La Crosse’s former FUNKE Candy Factory into a place to stay beside Riverside Park and the Mississippi. Built in 1898, the building retains an industrial character that runs through its exposed-brick public spaces and original safe in the lobby bar. Rooms range from king and double-queen accommodation to larger suites. Rainfall showers and double vanities are standard features; selected categories add baths, sitting areas, balconies or river views. A chocolate truffle on arrival recalls the building’s original purpose. The Restaurant serves rustic French-inspired cooking, while The Parlour provides coffee and the lobby bar offers local spirits and craft beer. A seasonal rooftop terrace serves Neapolitan-style pizza and cocktails, with downtown shops and riverside walks nearby.
