The Common Man Inn & Spa Plymouth
New Hampshire

The Common Man Inn & Spa in Plymouth occupies a former wood mill, retaining parts of its industrial structure within an Adirondack-style hotel. The 60,000-square-foot building was redeveloped in 2001 and opened as the inn in 2002. Accommodation comprises 37 rooms and a cabin. The conversion gives the property a different character from a purpose-built mountain hotel, with the original working building forming part of its identity. Foster's Boiler Room restaurant takes its name and setting from the mill's former boiler room. A spa and salon add a quieter side to the stay, while the Rise & Shine Cafe provides another place to eat within the property.
