The Cultured Pearl brings sushi and a wider Asian menu to Rehoboth Avenue in Rehoboth Beach. Founded by Susan Wood in 1993 and relocated to its current address in 2007, the restaurant occupies an upper-floor space created from a former hardware store. The kitchen combines Japanese dishes with Thai, Korean and American influences, offering ramen, tempura and Korean barbecue alongside sushi. Vegetarian and gluten-free choices are identified on the menu, and children have their own selection. Rooftop gazebos overlook koi ponds and gardens, while the dining rooms' 2025 redesign introduced thousands of cherry blossoms inspired by the atmosphere of Japanese street food.
