The Edgewater sits on Lake Mendota in downtown Madison, close to the University of Wisconsin and Capitol Square. Opened in 1948 and extensively reimagined in 2014, it combines a historic city address with the facilities of an urban resort. Its 202 rooms occupy the Wisconsin Building and historic Langdon Building. Many overlook the lake, while selected layouts add terraces, balconies or walkout patios.
