The Grey
Georgia (USA)

The Grey occupies a restored 1938 Art Deco Greyhound bus terminal in downtown Savannah. Chef and partner Mashama Bailey, who founded the restaurant with Johno Morisano, brings her interpretation of Port City Southern cooking to a building with a significant place in the city's history. Regional vegetables, seafood and meat shape the food, drawing on Bailey's family background, time in Savannah and wider culinary experience. European wines and spirits connected to Atlantic trade accompany the menu. The main dining room serves dinner and Sunday brunch, with changing dishes that connect the restaurant's Southern foundations to the ingredients available.
