The Industrialist Hotel Pittsburgh, Autograph Collection
Pennsylvania

The Industrialist Hotel occupies a restored 1902 skyscraper in downtown Pittsburgh's Fourth Avenue Historic District. Italian marble, mosaic tiles and crown mouldings preserve its Beaux Arts origins, while contemporary artwork connects the building with the city's present. Its 124 rooms and suites use leather headboards, brass fixtures and generous layouts. Selected rooms frame river or city views, and larger suites add separate living and dining spaces. The Presidential Suite includes a soaking tub and river-facing rooms. The Rebel Room serves modern American food from breakfast through dinner, with eclectic design and cocktails inspired by Pittsburgh's innovators. A lobby lounge offers another place for drinks and conversation. Fitness facilities and a pet-friendly approach round out a hotel whose strongest feature is the encounter between a historic commercial building and contemporary city life.
