The Jane moved to Antwerp’s Het Eilandje neighbourhood in October 2025, beginning a new chapter after eleven years in a former chapel. Nick Bril’s restaurant now occupies the Montevideo Residence site between the Scheldt and Kattendijk Dock, where industrial warehouses once served the city’s shipping trade. Nicolas Schuybroek Architects designed the interior, with natural stone, bespoke textiles and work by contemporary artists shaping the room. A tasting menu remains at the centre of the culinary experience, within a setting that connects the restaurant to Antwerp’s changing waterfront.
