The Lodge at Mount Magazine looks out from the south bluff of Arkansas's highest mountain, with views across the Petit Jean River Valley to Blue Mountain Lake. All 60 guest rooms share that outlook, giving the landscape a central role in a stay within Mount Magazine State Park. Skycrest Restaurant also faces the valley, while a heated indoor swimming pool, fitness centre and games room provide options within the lodge. Walking trails connect the building with the park's wider trail network and neighbouring cabins. The mountain is also a setting for more demanding outdoor pursuits, including technical rock climbing and hang-gliding launch areas.
