The Other Side

The Other Side is the private club and dining space at Latitude 0° on Kampala’s Makindye Hill. It forms a more secluded part of the hotel’s social offering, with its own restaurant, bar and lounge areas. The kitchens combine influences from several parts of the world, with African, European and Asian traditions represented in the wider Latitude dining concept. Wines from South African and European estates accompany the food. Beyond the table, The Other Side includes spaces for conversation, networking and entertainment, including a den and screening room. The setting reflects the hotel’s wider combination of contemporary African design and views across Kampala towards Lake Victoria. Access follows the club and hotel’s arrangements, so it is a place to plan through Latitude rather than treat as a conventional walk-in restaurant.
