The Residence Tunis
Tunisia

The Residence Tunis draws on Tunisia’s Arab-Andalusian heritage at a Mediterranean coastal setting near ancient Carthage. Pale interiors, honey-toned timber and Alicante marble floors give the resort a quieter architectural character than its substantial facilities might suggest. The property has 161 rooms and nine suites, with garden and sea-view choices. Suites add larger living spaces and views towards the pool or water, while the soft natural palette carries across the accommodation. An eighteen-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones II makes golf a major part of the stay. The spa and thalassotherapy facilities provide a gentler alternative, reflecting the resort’s emphasis on relaxation. Dining ranges from Mediterranean food at L’Olivier to Tunisian cooking at El Dar and Chinese dishes at Li Bai. The Earth Basket experience uses produce grown in the resort’s own kitchen farms, giving local ingredients a direct role in meals.
