The Restaurant at 1900
Missouri

The Restaurant at 1900 brings chef Linda Duerr's modern American cooking to the Kansas City area. Her menus reflect New England, Italian and French influences, changing frequently with the ingredients available for lunch and dinner. The restaurant draws on the modernist design of the 1900 Building, originally constructed in 1967 for H.D. Lee Jeans. Tulip-shaped columns and fabrics referencing that industrial history sit alongside colourful works by artist Lester Goldman and a collection of imaginative salt-and-pepper shakers. The drinks programme explores both established and less familiar producers, with wines made through biodynamic practices and changing cocktail and alcohol-free selections.
