The Sanya EDITION arranges its horseshoe-shaped hotel around a private man-made ocean at Haitang Bay. Its 501 rooms have sea views, while twelve villas sit on a terraced hillside with private pools and outdoor pavilion spaces. Dining can take place on illuminated floating platforms reached by boat across the inner water. Sky Bar occupies the top of the hotel, with an infinity pool and views of the South China Sea. The combination of beach access, an internal lagoon and elevated social spaces gives water several different roles within the resort.
