The Seelbach Hilton Louisville

The Seelbach Hilton has occupied its downtown Louisville corner since 1905, when Bavarian brothers Otto and Louis Seelbach opened their Beaux Arts Baroque hotel. Imported marble, French bronze and hardwood details remain part of its architectural identity, alongside the Bavarian-style Rathskeller with its Rookwood Pottery decoration. Rooms range from standard accommodation to specialty suites. Gatsby's on Fourth serves breakfast with a buffet and made-to-order eggs, while the restored Old Seelbach Bar explores Kentucky's bourbon tradition. Its menu includes Hot Brown, burgoo and Derby pie, with the signature Seelbach Cocktail among the drinks. Event spaces provide settings for meetings and celebrations within the historic building.
