The Shed serves Northern New Mexican cooking in central Santa Fe, behind Prince Patio on East Palace Avenue. The family-owned restaurant dates to 1953 and occupies a series of dining rooms reached through a shaded brick and flagstone courtyard. Chile is central to the kitchen's identity, arriving directly from the farm and appearing across the menu. Enchiladas and other regional dishes are joined by soups, salads and house accompaniments, with margaritas and other drinks available alongside the meal. The courtyard and historic rooms give the restaurant an intimate character close to Santa Fe's Plaza.
