The Swag
North Carolina
The Swag is a mountain retreat in the Great Smoky Mountains, with accommodation spread between the Swag House, Chestnut Lodge, cabins and suites. Each room has its own character and outlook, giving guests a choice between a closer connection to the main house and a more private setting. Dining forms a central part of the stay. Evenings begin with hors d'oeuvres before a four-course meal in the Swag House, while small-batch cooking and an Appalachian focus connect the food with the surroundings. Experiences and activities add ways to engage with the mountain landscape, making the property a base for both quiet time and exploration.
